Ravenwood OL is one of the mid-state's best

VandySports.com Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood offensive guard Luke Stansfield is used to being successful. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound interior lineman prospect has been a important part of a Raptors team that has appeared in the Class 5A state championship game the past two years including a state title victory in 2005.
It's no surprise then to see the middle Tennessee resident is beginning to pick up attention from many college coaching staffs.
"As far as I know, I have not received any official offers yet but many have expressed interest," Stansfield told VandySports.com on Tuesday. "As of right now, Vanderbilt is probably showing the most interest. Georgia Tech is too. I've also gotten calls from Furman and MTSU. And Ole Miss came by and he [Hugh Freeze] said he liked my tape, was going to give it to the line coach and invited me to their camp. I talked to a guy from Western Kentucky a couple of days ago. He's been at practice a couple of times.
