Terps-Clemson preview

TerrapinTimes.com If past is precedent, Maryland fans will endure another white-knuckle Saturday when the Terps play Clemson this weekend at Byrd Stadium.
The last three games between the two teams have been decided by a total of eight points, and given that both are in desperate need of a victory, this game will likely be no different.
Both teams have struggled to play with consistency, both have questions on each side of the line of scrimmage, and both teams rely heavily on a talented pair of tailbacks. The winner of Saturday's game will emerge with renewed hope, the loser with three ACC losses and many of its preseason dreams in shambles.
The Series
Clemson leads 29-24-2 but Maryland earned a 13-12 win last year in Death Valley on Dan Ennis' game-winning field goal as time expired.
