Kieffer Longson tweets out his top six

Kieffer Longson is a 6-foot-7, 300-pound offensive tackle who has seen a lot of college coaches pitch him on their program. Last week several of those coaches and programs that Longson would no longer be considering them.

Longson via twitter tweeted out his top 6 schools, they include in BYU, Ohio State, Arizona State, USC, Utah and UCLA. He shared with us what he likes about each school and what separated them from the others.

Ohio State - "They were my first offer. They put in more linemen in the NFL than any others; they put 4 linemen in the NFL last year."

BYU - "It's great school and great football program and being around the Mormon culture. I have not been around that many Mormons before, so that would be fun. I also have a lot of family that lives in Provo and Orem."

Utah -"I really Coach Jim Harding, he is a really cool guy. I got to meet some of the players and they have great facilities and again it's in Utah where I have family."

"With USC and UCLA they are big schools, they also have a history of putting people into the NFL and also my dad went to UCLA. I am in southern California so that would be nice.

Arizona State - "I took an unofficial visit there and I really liked it there, it also has a good Mormon population, so I really liked that."

"They have been recruiting me the hardest and they are the schools that I feel most comfortable with to get a good education and play good football," said Longson on he chose these 6 schools over the others. Right now USC and UCLA are the only two that have not offered, something that Longson feels confident will happen soon.

Coach Tujague has been the coach recruiting Longson and as we mentioned last week, Tujague is becoming the number 1 recruiter for the Cougars. "Coach Tujague tells me how he can get me ready for the NFL but that it goes both ways and that I have to prepare myself and work," said Longson

Longson plans on majoring in business or economics and as of right now would like to make a commitment after his official visits.
