PROVO - Many changes are taking place to the BYU Basketball program from coaching to especially the personnel on the roster.
The Cougar Cagers received a commitment from 2017 shooting guard Rylan Bergersen out of Boise, Idaho.
Bergersen is expected to come in and compete for playing time this season at the shooting guard spot.
Rylan hails from a basketball family. His father, Roberto, played at Boise State and was a player of the year in the Big West for the Broncos and was eventually drafted by the Atlanta Haws in the second round of the 1999 NBA Draft.
Along with BYU, Bergersen held an offer from the University of Hawaii.
For more on Bergersen's commitment and where the BYU coaching staff told him they envision him having an impact at BYU, head over to our premium message board, The Blue Zone.
