Florida speedster Martin commits to BYU
PROVO - BYU received their fourth commitment for the class of 2019 on Thursday. Florida native Khymani Martin made his pledge to BYU official via his personal Twitter account.
Martin wasn't in the Rivals database until receiving an offer from BYU earlier this month. A complete unknown in recruiting circles until he started working out with former BYU wide receivers Margin Hooks and Ross Apo.
According to Hooks, who recently talked about Martin on ESPN 960 with Ben Criddle and I (Monday-Friday; 3-7pm), he said that BYU coaches had to offer Martin because he has that "South Florida speed."
